Volunteers needed for Oct. 1 Water Guardians Lake Peachtree clean-up project

The Fayette County government is announcing its lake cleanup event for local residents with kayaks and canoes to assist in protecting our water reservoirs. The program is called Water Guardians and the lake cleanup will occur Saturday, Oct. 1, 8:45-11 a.m.

Whitewater Creek Paddle Trail Workdays

On Saturdays, October 1st and 29th, 2016, Southern Conservation Trust (SCT)will be hosting Whitewater Creek service days at The Ridge Nature Area to assist with removal of trash and trees that block navigation down the creek
